Forintek
is a wood research laboratory on the University of British Columbia
campus. Serving as Canada's National Wood Products Research Institute,
the facility is noted for its use of light frame timber construction in
a non-residential building. The heart of the building is the library
which also serves a circulation route, to and from the research
scientists' offices.
